Keegan Lowe and Dillon Simpson are best friends, sons of fathers who fought the good fight through the Edmonton Oilers’ glory days when the Stanley Cup was a rite of spring here. Neither defenceman was born when Kevin Lowe and Craig Simpson carried the last of the Oilers’ five Cups around the ice in 1990, but both of the 18-year-olds have been around hockey rinks their entire lives.
